    About

    Adria_05_04_2024-7522_edited.jpg

Born in Barranquilla, on Colombia's Caribbean coast, Adria grew up surrounded by music, dance and the rich cultural traditions of Latin America.

Moving to Switzerland and then to London in her early twenties opened the door to very different musical influences, where regular visits to the city's jazz clubs sparked a lasting connection with jazz and its spirit of interpretation, spontaneity and musical conversation.

Those experiences continue to shape Adria's work today.

Based in Jersey, Channel Islands, she has developed a repertoire reflecting both her roots and the musical influences she has embraced throughout her life.

Alongside her performing career, Adria founded Jazz en Jérri, an independent concert series created to bring jazz musicians to Jersey and contribute to the island's cultural life.

Working closely with visiting artists and presenting concerts over many years has further enriched her own musical perspective while helping to establish a growing audience for jazz on the island.

Today, Adria performs in jazz clubs, festivals and concert venues, presenting programmes built around storytelling through song.

Each performance reflects a carefully chosen repertoire that brings together the music and experiences that have shaped her artistic life.

Her debut album -Between Two Worlds - brings together songs that reflect the musical influences, experiences and storytelling that have shaped her work to date.

Recorded with outstanding musicians, it marks the beginning of a new chapter as she continues to develop her own voice as a performer and recording artist.
